2004 DICE Summit Overview

On March 4 and 5, 2004, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences held the third D.I.C.E. Summit. The two-day summit was held at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Here, interactive and game industry professionals were treated to stimulating seminars hosted by some of the most revered and creative minds in the game industry and a few surprises from other entertainment fields. Speakers included: Electronic Arts CCO and founder Bing Gordon, Naughty Dogs Co-Founder and President Jason Rubin and the President of Activision Publishing Kathy Vrabeck.

Celebrating another year of exciting achievements in interactive entertainment, the 2004 D.I.C.E. Summit also celebrated the Academy’s 7th Annual International Achievement Awards, hosted by Actor Diane Mizota the host of the series Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls. Mizota's theatrical credits include: "Fook Mi" in Austin Powers in Goldmember, Friends, Ally McBeal, That Thing You Do, King of Queens, 7th Heaven, and CSI: Miami.
