Ed Logg graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in computer science and mathematics. He then received his graduate degree from Stanford University. Logg began his career as a hardware engineer at Control Data Corporation, but went to Atari across the road with a colleague where he developed a number of successful games, including Super Breakout, Asteroids, Centipede, Millipede and the Gauntlet series. Logg also worked on some Nintendo 64 games like Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey and San Francisco Rush. Today, Logg still designs games as a contract employee for ActiveVideo Networks, creating titles for its CloudTV set-top boxes.
