Gordon Walton has been authoring games and managing game development since 1977. He currently serves as vice president and executive producer of The Sims Online at Electronic Arts/Maxis. Prior to The Sims Online, Walton was vice president online services for Origin Systems managing Ultima Online™: Renaissance and Ultima Online™: Third Dawn. He also served as senior vice president and general manager of Kesmai Studios where he oversaw the development of Air Warrior II™ and Air Warrior III™. Walton has owned and managed two development companies and has been development manager for both Three-Sixty Pacific and Konami of America, Inc.
Walton has been a speaker at every Game Developers Conference since its inception in 1988. He has been a keynote speaker at the Japan Personal Computer Software Association Conference on Simulation Design in March, 1994. Walton has also been a featured speaker at industry events such as E3, East Coast Computer Game Developers Conference, Kagan Conference, and Jupiter's Conference.
Walton contributed to the "The Future of Games Delivery" panel.
